The US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) urged Sisense customers to reset their credentials after the data analytics company reported a security incident. The exact nature of the compromise is unclear, but an attacker could have accessed customers' data using Sisense's credentials. Founded in 2010, Sisense provides business intelligence and data analytics software to large companies, including critical infrastructure sector organizations. Sisense counts Air Canada, PagerDuty, Philips Healthcare, Skullcandy, and Verizon as customers. The company laid off about half of its employees since 2022, but it's unclear if the layoffs impacted security posture.
