The studio behind the popular games "Journey" and "Flower" has brought their peaceful MMO, Sky: Children of the Light, to PC via early access on Steam. The game is free-to-play and features a pretty world for players to explore, slide down hills, solve puzzles, and generally be pleasant. It first arrived on iOS in 2019 and later spread to other platforms but was not available on PC until recently. The delay was due to beefing up security against hackers who were making millions of dollars by selling currencies and illegally accessing the game. Sky: Children of the Light is funded by cosmetics sales and a season pass, with the next season introducing the ability to create homes.
