Microsoft is reportedly quite confident about Qualcomm's upcoming chips, its new Surface devices and the future of Windows on ARM.

Microsoft is reportedly confident that its new Surface laptop, expected to run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon X Elite chip, can outperform Apple's M3 MacBook Air in CPU performance and AI-accelerated tasks. Microsoft is planning to launch consumer models of the Surface Pro 10 and Laptop 6 with Snapdragon X Elite processors and internally refers to them as next-gen AI Copilot PCs. These devices will gain access to new AI-powered Windows features such as the rumored AI Explorer app that allows users to retrieve anything they've ever seen or done on their device.
