Microsoft is expanding its AI presence in the UK by opening a new research hub in London. The company aims to bring together academic and industry experts to advance AI technologies. This investment follows the UK's commitment to promoting responsible AI development and economic growth. The new hub adds to Microsoft's existing AI initiatives in Cambridge and will contribute to expanding the country's AI capacity. Microsoft also plans to increase its datacenter footprint, investing 2.5bn over three years.
