DC Studios has announced that Craig Gillespie, director of "Tonya" and "Cruella," will helm the upcoming Supergirl movie. The film, which is set to be played by Milly Alcock, is based on Tom King's Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow comic book series and is reportedly a harder version of the character. The movie will shoot in Q4 this year and will be released theatrically in July 2025.
