The U.S. Navy recently completed a successful test for Lockheed Martin's Long-Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM), which is designed to reduce dependence on external platforms and network links in order to penetrate sophisticated enemy air-defense systems. This missile, equipped with artificial intelligence, can fly in swarms, sharing data that allows them to coordinate attacks with unprecedented lethality and accuracy. The LRASM features advanced seeker and guidance systems provided by BAE Systems, as well as jam-resistant GPS/IN, infrared imaging and homing capabilities, and a suite of electronic sensors.
