A controversial new paper argues that there may not be enough room in the universe for dark matter, after all.

A new paper by physics professor Rajendra Gupta at the University of Ottawa challenges the existence of dark matter in the universe. He argues that gravitational phenomena in our universe can be explained through covarying coupling constants (CCC) and tired light (TL) theories, without the need for dark matter. These theories suggest that fundamental constants may not be as constant as previously believed and that light slows down as it travels through the universe.
